Phytosqualan is odorless, colorless, and stable versus oxidation that is used as emollient, moisturizer and active carrier for skin care. Squalane is a natural component of the human sebum. It is an intermediate in the biosynthesis of sterols. It also guarantees the integrity and healthy appearance of the skin. It prevents the TEWL and restores skin suppleness.
This product is a hydrocarbon with low molecular weight so it has quick spreading and skin absorption. Also enhances the dispersion of pigments (make-up) and TiO2 (sunscreens). It is a very safe base for the oily phase of formulation, non-greasy, non-tacky, and non-irritant.
Suitable skin type : baby skin, dry skin, sesitive skin.
